Add PRI Card – MM710 board

Add PRI Card – MM710 board First insert the card into the media gateway. display media-gateway x - will show the board is inserted okay. list configuration all – will show all card in the system busyout\rel port xvy016 – to disable\enable the DCH

General configuration – for euro\etsi or QSIG see below Add the card to the configuration add ds1 xVy   x=media gateway number, y=slot number, (V=constant)

Add signaling group

Add Trunk Group

Add the trunk group to the signaling group

Add manually all trunk members

Channel 16 is used for DCH so on next page continue from channel 17

Configure clock source Connect to the gateway SSH Type set sync interface primary v2 –(2=Slot number) – to configure primary Type set sync source primary – to lock on primary Type set sync switching enabled  - to enable switching between clock source in failure Type show sync timing – to view configuration Type copy run start – to save the configuration

QSIG with CS1K Configure DS1 board

 

If ds1 Channel Numbering is timeslot QCHID should be yes on CS DCH If ds1 Channel Numbering is sequential QCHID should be no on CS DCH

To clear stuck session Use sat Type status logins  - a list of sessions will be displayed Type reset login-ID x – will clear selected session
