Van Gogh is a postimpressionist painter known for using significantly more strong and stunning colors Van Gogh’s early style of painting was based on a more muted Dutch inspired pallete, which contrasted sharply with his later works, which used strong colors to portray emotions. He also painted a lot of portraits and selfportraits He began painting when he was around 21 years old

They are well known impressionist artist Both artists made extensive use of light and its effects on the colors of their subject matter and the spaces and objects contained within. They are known for the landscape paintings A lack of straight lines and traditional linear perspective is common to both artists as too are very definite brush strokes that give an added depth to the paint on the canvas.

Claude Monet was a founder of the impressionist movement, and a pure impressionist She was recognized for using more realistic colors tones in his works Claude Monet's style is fiercely focused on how light influences and interacts on landscapes and the items included within them. Monet's artworks would continue to focus on light and colors throughout his career, and practically all of his works are in the hazy impressionist style to which his name is so intimately connected. Monet was more interested in landscapes and painting in the open air. Monet began painting at a young age.
