The electronic goods show tremendous growth previous couple of years. Compare to other goods and investors like better to make their investment during this sector only. However, there's high growth tendency for electronic goods it faces some difficulties in achieving their destination. Hence the purpose of this study is to identify the force that influence on consumer shopping pattern particularly in Rajasthan. Because Rajasthan referred as the Indian man sitter where most of the industry people living that why selected the electronic products of study. The present study target of Rajasthan respondent, understanding their behaviour helps to identify the preference influence of brand in their purchase decision etc. on the purchase of particular electronic product. The insight will help the manufactures to adopt new strategies which might help not only to draw in new customer but also the maintain the loyalty of the prevailing customer, as in the present competitive scenario the consumer is prepared to choose their right product not only based on their needs but also on the basic of personal interest shown by the manufactures on them.

INTERNSHIP PROJECT DETAILS

A Study Report of Virtual Summer Internship Program on JUVAS Pvt. Ltd.| 28

INTERNSHIP PROJECT DETAILS  

Position: Sales Trainee Job Description: 1) To collate the data from the market through following sources : (e.g.: Social media, google, etc) 2) To identify, develop and build relationships with prospective clients and generate leads. 3) For all the clients, need to prepare presentations & also need to prepare the portfolio of the company.  4) Learn the details about the company's products and services. 5) Demonstrating and presenting the products to the downline channel sales, to the distributors and dealers. 6) To follow up the clients and take their enquiries and execute them respectively.  7) Collect and analyse information’s and prepare data and sales reports.

As a Marketing intern, I was assigned to work in JUVAS as a Sales trainee for 2 months. The main task I was assigned to collect the information of the channel members distributor and the dealers of electrical and electronics product of some selected areas of a particular state that was Rajasthan. Then I had to call the all the channel members and made them understand that why they should deal with our brand’s product. Then in the same way I had to collect the data from the social media platform called “Facebook” and call all the channel members. The main target that I have given to generate maximum leads. The outlook of the project was to collect data of the channel members of electrical and electronics companies and insist them to deal with the products of the JUVAS. Though the main purpose of my training was to gain practical experiences of working with the company. But due to the pandemic, the situations were getting more critical. So, I had to work from home for the company. Still lot of experiences I had gained after working with JUVAS. The project is all about the data of how different channel members of different electrical companies perceive their view about working with other electrical brands. In below I described brand awareness, brand preference and channel member’s perception towards electrical product and brands:  Brand Awareness: We may think we have a good idea about how your target market feels about your product, but until you ask them directly, you’re leaving a lot to chance. At least once a year, and preferably once per quarter, you should be running a brand awareness study. These brand awareness surveys are an excellent way to track the overall recognition of your brand within your most desirable markets. Most brand awareness studies focus on A Study Report of Virtual Summer Internship Program on JUVAS Pvt. Ltd.| 29

aided awareness, which measures how likely a customer, is to recognize your brand or product when presented with options from which to choose. Aided awareness is important because a brand that is familiar and easily recognizable is much more likely be used, talked about, and in general succeed. For example, if a customer chooses a brand with high levels of brand awareness and familiarity will have a hugged Glover the competitors when it comes time to choose from the shelves. Brand recall, or “top of mind awareness,” is a measure of how likely a customer is to remember your brand when asked an unaided question. 

In other words, without any leading information. This represents how strongly this person correlates your brand with the given category. This type of free association is incredibly important to any marketing campaign. The more likely a person is to remember your brand absent prompting, the more likely they are to be talking about, recommending, and preferring your brand during a purchase.

 Brand Perception: Unlike brand awareness and recall, brand perception encompasses how your customers feel about your brand. A comprehensive brand perception study will tell you how your customers feel about your brand in relation to others, what attributes of your brand or product are most and least important to your customers, and overall, how interactions with your brand leave the customer feeling. 

Your brand perception will take into account customer service, quality, value, features, and the sales process. If your customers perceive you positively, they are much more likely to continue engaging with your brand. And the more positively the perceive you; the more likely they are to be evangelists for your brand.

Conversely, if your customers have a negative perception of your product or brand, they are more liable to choose your competitors or even warn other potential customers away.

A quality brand perception study can tell you why your customers are, or are not, choosing you. It can also tell you what your customers are likely saying about you on social media and in face-to-face conversations.

 Channel member’s perception: The worldwide electric power industry provides a vital service essential to modern life. It provides the nation with the most prevalent energy form known in history— electricity. 

Electronic products and Brands go hand in hand. The main aim of Electrical brands is to provide best electrical lighting solutions and to be globally recognized firm.

A Study Report of Virtual Summer Internship Program on JUVAS Pvt. Ltd.| 30

This project has been undertaken to understand the customers’ perception about electrical products in comparison with the products of its competitors. With high market competition in the electrical products, most of the companies compete with each other through price, heavy advertising, superior product quality and enhanced customer service to ensure consumers satisfaction towards their lighting equipment. Characteristics such as durability, serviceability, performance, usability etc. also significantly affect how customers view the primary product. This study attempts to focus on how customers perceive Havells equipment on the basis of the abovementioned product attributes.

It is important to underscore the word perception. The customer’s perception is what counts, not what we think it is.

To understand this point it helps to consider perception categorized into 4 quadrants: ➢ How a Company views itself ➢ How the Customer views the company ➢ How a company thinks the customer views the company ➢ The real view of the company.

 Perception Quadrant: The first quadrant has value, but includes obvious blind spots. The second quadrant is the one that counts the most and the goal of assessing customer perception is to develop as accurate a picture of the customer’s view as possible. The third quadrant is a company’s perception of how its customers perceive it. Bias creeps into this quadrant as well. The fourth quadrant accounts forth areal picture Father Company. 

In practice, a company’s profile of customer perception resides in the third quadrant because its ability to vision, listen, and interpret is in itself a perception which carries filters. A quick review of concepts related to perception helps attain higher degrees of accuracy when assessing customer perception because it is wise to remember that “beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
